Managing IAQ for Healthier Work and Living
27 Aug, 2020 (Thur) | 3:30om - 4:30pm
According to the latest labour data released by the Census and Statistics Department, it is found that 20 per cent of the 3 million employees in Hong Kong work an average of 55 hours per week, 11 hours a day. While we spend most of the time at office, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is an important factor affecting our health.
In additional, it has been proven that airborne transmission of COVID-19 is opportunistic in nature and poor indoor ventilation plays a role in transmission. Improving IAQ has become the urge and priority of business leaders. IAQ plays a crucial part in improving productivity and reduce absenteeism, which can benefit work performance.
Join us to learn about how to manage IAQ for healthier work and living; and how green technology plays a part. Dr. Shek Ka Wing from Sundial Technology Development will share real-life case studies of Hong Kong corporates which have successfully implemented IAQ projects to their space.
In this webinar you will learn:
- What Indoor Air Quality standards are and their impacts on residential and commercial buildings
- Types of indoor air pollutants and hazards and effective criteria for choosing an air purifier/disinfectant
- Case Study: application of green technology in IAQ projects in Hong Kong
